Best Out of Friends

I have many persons I considered friends of mine. I hope they considered me too as one their friends.

Grade school time was really a wonderful experience one. I cried on the first day of school because I was afraid to other people that I will encounter. My grandmother spanked me all the way to school just to make sure that I will go to school. After that, I got to use to go to school as myself only. I gained friends like Joshua and Angelica who were cousins and they are my classmates. We play together in the school before the flag ceremony start. As the time goes by I knew and have more friends in my grade school days.

My high school life became memorable because of my high school friends. I studied my first and second year in Manila specifically in Tondo High School. It was a new surroundings, new school, and new experiences so I was nervous and I was so over the moon when the first day of school came. I was happy to knew and meet them because I learned new things and experiences. On my third and fourth year of my high school life I had transferred in Bulacan for the reasons of family and financial problem.  I was forced to adapt another environment and people but I easily adjusted because of my friends. Friends comfort you when you’re sad or you have a problem. We went to different places when we don’t have classes and hanging out with them every weekend was really enjoyable. I am lucky to meet and knew them and I treasure them so truly.

Now my college life is currently on the making process. I’m a third year college student right now and getting to know more people and more experiences. I am so glad to study here in Visayas particularly in Capiz; I had met my other relatives and have new friends especially the TG. I really had hard time to adjust in this place because of the language that they are using but I’m trying my best to adapt on the society and people where I belong now. I am excited to create new life experience as my own go further and further. I am hoping that life makes me stronger and better version of me as the time passes me.

Eksperinsyado

We all have different experiences in life it maybe memorable or embarrassing one. I have adventures in my life too it’s for you to know that matter.

Do you love floods me I like it because when I was a little one I play in the flood with my neighbor’s children and my playmates. That happened in Manila; I play in the flood and just so you know the color of the water is black, really black because the water came from the canal and drainage system so basically it was gross. We really enjoy that like when typhoon came next was flood. When the flood came; rats, centipedes, cockroaches and other insects were going out anywhere and there we were catching and killing them like an expert one. I only love that thingy when I was a child and now I’m not a child anymore I feel really gross if I ever do that again.

My vacation in Bicol was always memorable to me. I had experienced eating fresh coconut fruits. The foods there were fresh from their backyards so definitely it was fresh and good for the health. I also experienced eating monitor lizard and snake. I joined my grandfather on hunting them with the help of our dog. Dogs have really strong sense of smell and it run fast too. At first I was so hesitant to eat the monitor lizard and snake because I don’t have any idea that it can be eaten. I thought also that it was gross and I can get sick when I eat them. In the end I ate them and it was deliciously like the meat of the chicken. I’m so full after that eating agenda. My taste on foods became really wide that I want to try again if I went to Bicol once more.

I have so many experiences in my life that it can‘t fit this writings. It will take longer times if I tell to you all that adventures so that’s it for now.

Talentadong Skills

I have a talent I have a pen, uhh, TALENTPEN Whatever! What are your talents? What are your skills? Is this a slam book? Charr! Okay, let’s talk about talents and skills.

I have a talent at least, as far as I remember. I love to dance. Ever since I was child I dance just like my mother and her siblings. I dance when I’m taking a bath especially when the water is really cold. To ease the coldness in my body I dance like a drunkard one but dear I have no vices so don’t take that seriously. I dance in my room, play the music then I was there dancing like an animal who was free from his cage. The funny part there is my neighbors heard all that flip, head bang and others crazy steps I made because of the sounds. The highlight is when I’m going on somewhere they always look to me like I did something wrong then it hit me I made another embarrassing moment in my life.

In acting, well I can act at least but not that great as the others do. I voluntarily give the best actor award to them because acting is not my forte. I also love singing honestly speaking. I do have many idols in singing like Adele and Lady Gaga. I also sing in the bathroom so overall I’m a total package performer in the bathroom. I feel like I’m having a duet with Regine Velasquez-Alcasid every time I sing then my neighbors heard that screaming of me thinking that I’m a beast who’s out of control. Well it’s just that really love to sing although the music itself don’t love me so bear with me darling.

Foodelicious

Since Philippines is a free country we can do what we want to do. I will spill everything using my Filipino language so peace be with you guys.

Mahilig akong kumain ng pagkain natural. Kinakain ko yung masarap para sa akin baka kasi di masarap sa panlasa mo. Hindi po ako kumakain ng SIRA at PANIS mahal ko pa po ang buhay. Gustung-gusto ko yung mga ulam na may maraming sabaw tulad ng sinigang. Wow! masarap yan ‘pag luto nila lolo’t lola. (Biased) Gusto ko rin ang tinola ah! basta maraming sabaw masarap naman siguro. Sa totoo lang sobrang nasasarapan talaga ako sa luto nang lolo at lola ko. Lagi kong nauubos yung pagkain ko kapag sila yung nagluto. Taob lagi ang kaldero at kawali namin tuwing sila ang nagluluto masarap naman talaga kasi.

Mahilig din ako sa maaanghang na pagkain tulad ng bicol express at pancit canton extra hot chili. Siguro dahil may dugo akong bicolano kasi sila lola ay mga bicolano. Madali kasi akong magsawa sa pagkain na plain lang yung lasa nasanay kasi ako palagi may maanghang na sawsawan at maanghang ng ulam sa lamesa. Sisihin niyo lolo at lola ko malaki talaga impluwensiya nila sa akin lalo na sa pagkain kainin ba naman ni lolo yung sili. Pero di po ako kumakain ng sili sila lang po di ko pa nasusubukan.

Lumaki ako sa mahirap na buhay kaya sanay akong kumain na kung ano ang nasa lamesa na pagkaing nakahain kainin mo kasi maraming taong nagugutom huwag sayangin ang grasya ng diyos. Kaya hindi ako maarte sa pagkain yung mapili ba. Malakas pala akong kumain ng kanin sabi nila. Hindi pwedeng walang extra rice kapag kumain ako sa labas o magsasandok pa ulit ng kanin kapag nasa ibang bahay. Yun nga lang hindi ako tumataba at hindi ko alam kung swerte ba yun o malas kasi naman malakas nga akong kumain pero payat pa rin. Mahalaga ang pagkain para sakin hindi dahil ito ang bumubuhay sa akin kundi ito ay isang paraan kung paano makikilala at pakikisamahan ang isang tao

Iskool Bucool

College life is a roller coaster ride of my life existence; it is as fun as the amusement park was made and as stressful as you count your hair strands one by one. I was 18 yrs. Old when I had entered in college specifically in Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion. Well, CPC was not my top schools that I want to go to because I’m in Bulacan studying high school that time. My mom asked me where do I want to study in college and I answered I want to study in college where the school is near to our house and has the affordable tuition fee. I didn’t think an exact school where I want to but I have a dream school and this Ateneo de Manila University; basically, it is in Manila. It is my dream school because it is one of the top universities in the Philippines, where my favorite volleyball team belonged and my favorite volleyball athlete came from.

Definitely, my mom had suggested many schools which were written at back page of my notebook. I wrote that list when we were chatting before. There are many schools that I can be chosen to go to such as Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Baliuag State University (BSU), Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and other schools. But none of them were chosen; my father was appeared suddenly out of nowhere so I have to consider his suggestions right away. He suggested to study on his place which is in Capiz. After that, I had decided to give him a chance so I agreed to him to study in Capiz yet before that happened I had talked to my grandmother and mother about my decision and they had approved my decision.

I was in Capiz now; feeling new on the surroundings and feeling naïve for new people. My sister helped me to choose where school I should study. First top is Filamer Christian University (FCU); I’m answering the form when I said to my sister that I want to try on other school and she asked for my reason. I said to her that I don’t know either maybe I don’t like the environment or maybe I don’t like the student. As a result we went to Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion where she was studying her college year that time and she was a third year student. I was just hoping that my journey on the school that I will choose may have a wonderful yet worth-remembering experience in my whole entire school life. Then, I had chosen the school of my school. The reason behind that decision that I had made were; it is where my sister studying so that it is not difficult to travel to one place to another and lastly is because the color of the school is blue. My favorite color is blue and it is not so really obvious. That’s the story on how my college life begun.

Best gift I ever had

Birthday is the happiest day we want every year. Lots of greetings and gifts for your family, friends and other love one’s were given to you. Well I can say that I had experienced the most memorable birthday in my life and that happened this year.

It was already vacation and summer so there’s no school works I’m free from that. It was Capiztahan, me and my classmates decided to watch the fireworks display later that night.  We set the time when will meet and also the meeting place then we agreed to meet at the back gate of the stadium where the fireworks display was held. Different places were joined the contest of fireworks like Cebu, Bulacan and of course Capiz. It was wonderful to watch the different masterpiece of all the participants and we really had enjoyed that moment. I said to my classmates that tomorrow is my birthday and I will go to Bulacan for my summer vacation so I should not stay up late. Tomorrow is my flight I said to myself but the moment was really great so I had decided to stay just for a while. We had finished the fireworks display until the end then I had realized that it was already 10:05 at night and my flight was 5:45 in the morning so I said goodbye to my classmates then went home.

There’s a twist that night and that is I can’t sleep even though I turn off the lights of my room. It was 12:00 midnight not exactly that I fell asleep and I woke up 5:15 am well in just a snap go to the bathroom, don’t take breakfast and prepare everything as fast as I can are the things that I did just to manage to go to the airport and leave. As I arrived to the airport with my luggage I gave my ticket to the guard then he said that the airplane was already left and I was like “NO!!!  THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!!” I’m totally shocked what I’m going to do. I asked the guard on what I need to do and he said to booked a ticket on that morning but the next day is the available flight for that plane yet I can’t afford to buy another ticket. As a result I went home with a super disappointed feeling to myself for just wasting that huge amount of money just because I watch the fireworks display although I knew that I have a flight on the next day an d of course for waking up so late.

In that day I declared to myself that it was my best gift I ever had for my birthday. The moral lesson is don’t watch fireworks display at night just try in the morning. :)

Seibboh ni Elif

We had talked about my basic information already well not so deeply. Now, my hobby is next that I will tell. I like singing especially when I’m in the bathroom I feel like I’m in a major concert every time. I think I always reach the lower and higher notes when I start to open my mouth how ambitious I am. Dance is what I also like; I dance ever since I was child. Even now I’m in college I’m still dancing; I dance in the bathroom, living room and bedroom. I guess I got my dancing skill on my mother.

Volleyball is my favorite among all the sports. I started playing volleyball when I’m in high school in the street with my cousins, friends and neighbors. My idol in volleyball sports is Alyssa Valdez because I love the she flies when she hits the ball.  I wish I had the chance to finally meet her in personal and I don’t know on what will I am going to do if that happen maybe I go crazy for real. Why did I choose volleyball than basketball to become my favorite sports? Here’s why; well I really don’t know why basketball is not my thing, maybe because it’s too physical how about volleyball it’s physical too. I remembered when I’m in high school in our Physical Education class we are obliged to play basketball for our practical exam so definitely I’m dead. I said to my P.E teacher that maybe I can be the water boy for the game and he was like “If you want to pass the subject you should play the game” and me like “No! Have mercy to me Sir”. I just run here and there but I had never touched the ball not even once because I was scared to lose our team just because of me. In the end I had passed the subject and I was so happy for that.

Hobbies make the person experience new things beyond his/ her own limits. It’s up to you if you want to limit yourself or explore and discover the things may develop to one self.
